IMA Mathematics of Surfaces
Prof. Ralph Martin was recently Chairman of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications conference on the Mathematics of Surfaces, helpt in September 2009 at the University of York. This international conference attracted many distinguished scientists, including the renowned Field's Medallist Prof. S. T. Yau of Harvard.
